Opening the Next Chapter of Conformity Assessment: Building Trust in the Digital and Sustainable Era

National and international stakeholders of the conformity assessment sector will come together in Istanbul.

Organized biennially by the TURKLAB Association of Calibration and Testing Laboratories, the TURKLAB Conformity Assessment Conference and Exhibition will be held on 18–19 November 2026 at The Marmara Taksim Hotel, Istanbul, under the main theme "Digitalization, Sustainability, and Conformity Assessment."

For two days, Istanbul will become the meeting point for national and international professionals working in laboratories, testing, calibration, inspection, certification, and conformity assessment. The conference will bring together decision-makers, industry experts, laboratory managers, academics, quality professionals, and leading stakeholders from Türkiye and around the world on a single platform.

This year's conference will feature expert speakers addressing key topics shaping the future of the sector, including digital transformation in laboratories, artificial intelligence applications, data analytics, autonomous and green laboratories, developments and best practices in the healthcare sector, as well as the new competencies and qualified workforce required in the era of digitalization.

The conference will also include a special session dedicated to the memory of the late Dr. Ömer Güzel, one of the pioneers of TURKLAB and a distinguished contributor to the development of the conformity assessment sector in Türkiye. During this session, the history of conformity assessment in Türkiye will be explored through Dr. Güzel's remarkable journey and contributions.

More than 200 national and international senior-level participants are expected to attend the conference and its associated events. Participants will include senior executives from testing, calibration, medical, environmental, food, and industrial laboratories; decision-makers from certification and inspection bodies; senior officials and experts from public institutions (including TÜRKAK and relevant ministries); representatives and experts from TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, a leading institution in artificial intelligence research; academics and researchers from universities and research centers; quality managers; representatives of international organizations, particularly EUROLAB; as well as procurement professionals and suppliers shaping investments in laboratory technologies.
